NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)

NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is a effective, safe, and even fun way to disrupt negative or limiting behavior patterns that prevent us from achieving our goals, dreams, and whole living. NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) is extremely popular in the self-help, therapy, sports, education, coaching, performance and corporate worlds. One of the major applications of NLP is the modeling of human excellence, which through NLP coaching, enables anyone to design behaviors and beliefs that exemplify their highest vision of themselves.

Tony Robbins, best selling author and world renowned self-help guru, was one of the original NLP practitioners and promoters. Tony attributes many of his self-help techniques to NLP. Famous hypnotist Paul McKenna uses NLP techniques in his popular hypnosis CD’s. In fact, NLP techniques are utilized in hypnotherapy sessions, psychological treatments, self-help and corporate strategy programs all the time, in powerfully subtle ways.

NLP utilizes the “way” that humans already view the world, via the senses (sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell), to affect desired change. Since we all use our senses to interpret our experiences, using them to “mold” our experiences is also extremely effective. NLP can be applied to help with many different aspects of your life. Although the uses for NLP are practically endless, below is a list of common uses for NLP treatments/education:

  • Identify and transform limiting beliefs and behaviors (lack mentality, self-esteem, confidence, etc).
  • Enhanced learning ability
  • Improving levels of performance (sports, school, learning, testing, career, skills)
  • Master your own emotions
  • Public Speaking
  • Phobias
  • Anxiety
  • Dramatically improved communications skills
  • Enhance your personal relationships
  • Develop instant confidence
  • Motivational Skills
  • Goal Settings/Achieving Goals
  • Learn things about yourself that you did not even know before

Working with an NLP Practitioner on any of these issues will provide you with the tools to not only solve your immediate problem, but give you the knowledge and the skills to meet future challenges easily and with confidence. Once you learn NLP yourself, you can apply NLP techniques to many areas of your life. These lifelong skills have the potential to significantly improve your quality of life.
